How the free generator works
Each card has six numbered grids. The coach calls a three-digit number: the first two digits are printed above the column that holds the sign, the third is the row. Print a fresh card between games and every number means something new.
- Choose pitching, offense or defense, and click the signs you use.
- Pick a grid (2 x 2 up to 3 x 3, six grids per card) and the size of your wristband's window.
- Click Shuffle signs until you like the card, then Download PDF and print on letter paper.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the wristband generator really free?
Yes. Pick your signs, fill the grid and download the PDF with no account and no credit card. The title on each card ends with NEWDIAMONDSPORTS.COM; save the wristband to a free account and the title is yours alone.
What signs can I put on the cards?
The preset pitches (fastball, change-up, slider, cutter, drop, rise and more), offensive plays (bunts, steals, hit and run, squeezes) or defensive calls (pick-offs, bunt defenses, steal coverage), printed as their short abbreviations.
How many signs fit on a card?
Six grids of 2 x 2 up to 3 x 3, so 24 to 54 signs. The generator spreads your signs across them as evenly as the grid allows.
What size cards does it print?
Youth, standard, large and extra-large presets, or any custom size from 2 x 1 to 8 x 8 inches, with as many cards as fit on one letter page: three standard 5 x 3 cards, for example.
Does it work for softball and baseball?
Yes. The pitches cover both, including drop and rise balls for fastpitch, and the offensive and defensive signs are the same in either game.
What does a free account add?
Your wristband saved so you can change one cell instead of starting over, the coaches sheet you call from, a cheat sheet for each player, and templates for 12U to college. Pitch zones, your own signs and bigger grids are on paid plans from $2.50 a month billed annually.
